I know I’m a bit late to this, well I just spotted it. 🙂
Even if we were there a little over a month after the earthquake in September 2010 and experienced a rather hard after shock. We had our best holiday and cycle tour ever, our visit to New Zealand will stay in our hearts for ever.
We had wild camping, empty roads, earthquake, helicopter ride, swimming with dolphins, rain, snow, blue skies at 27c, glaciers rumbling in the night, broken wheel, sand flies, water falls, horse riding, clear night skies and absolutely stunning gorgeous views.
Blog4NZ is a grass-roots effort on the part of the international travel blogging community to promote all that is good about travel in New Zealand, Canterbury and Christchurch. It is a worldwide blogging event that is running from the 21st to 23nd of March — the one-month anniversary of the quake.
