This was a bit of a last minute trip for us, but what a treat. The Elmscott bed and breakfast was a welcoming site after bit of a faff getting out of London and very easily found from the station.
We were able to park our bicycles in their garage and were shown to our wonderful room. Which had a big en suite bathroom, telly and even a iPod charger. And best of all the bed was nice and very firm double bed just as we like it. So we knew that we would have a good night sleep after a day on our bikes.
The breakfast was served in a lovely room with a great view of the garden. Too bad that it was damp, wet February we were there, but I’m sure that the garden would be beautiful come spring.
Now let’s just talk about the breakfast, you got more that you could shake a stick at. Yoghurts, many kind of cereals, muesli, bananas, tea in a BIG pot. We had some very yummy scrambled eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes and I had very tasty bacon cooked just right with it.

Just the right treat for us, we truly enjoyed our stay there. Too bad that we arrived so late since there is tea, coffe and home made cake waiting for you when you arrive in the afternoon.
