Do they count as protein or carbs?

It was hard getting out the door today and the first few miles had good options to turn back early. Lucky I kept going and ended up past the point of no return and it would be rude to turn back.

Nearly 27 miles to Ilkley and up and over the moor, which did go up and then a bit more up. Best part was the views and the nearly 12 miles downhill and flat home.
