After a few days on North, Sound Uist and Benbecula and Eriskay. I got to do some of the best cycling I have done in a long time. The Golden road on the island of Harris should be on everyone’s bucket list, a clear top 10 ride to do. To bad it is so short.
I took advantages of Peli driving, it was nice to pootle around a corner, over the top of a hill finding her there.
Coming into one of the bays I had the same felling that I had last year when we drove the same route. A sudden felling of home, longing and peace. I utterly fell for this stunning corner of the world.
